PAYMENT HOLDS PLACE IN CLASS

Filling out a registration form is required to attend class and must be done before the first day of class.  The registration  form does not reserve a spot for your child.

Payment: deposit when available or paying for the class in full reserves/holds their spot in class.

We regret that summer classes and camps are not refundable. Please reach out by 3 weeks in advance (21 days or longer) of the first day of camp/class by email to see if we credit to an open camp.

What to bring to class?

Bring a back pack  large filled water bottle or 2 smaller ones

Snack & Lunch in a zipping or snapping  lunch container : Something that can be closed, not a bag

Dress for the weather and bring layers for cooler mornings, rain, wind

Close toed shoes recommended - shoes with a back or heel strap required (no flip flops or backless sandals)

Classes all begin in the waiting area : Look for the blue rooster, the Big Foot, and the wooden playhouse. This is the waiting area and pick up drop off area. If you will be late, please text us, and text when you arrive. We will come get your child from the waiting area. When class/camp is finished, we bring kids back to waiting area. 

Payment Holds your child's place in class - The registration form is needed but does not hold a child's place - Payment completes registration

Projects Will Very With Age Groups Progressively More Challenging With Age





We will Forage - Pick & Make Plant Dyes
& naturally dye  dish towels provided

opt bring a  white 100% cotton white  prewashed shirt to  class
&
Plant Pounding Art "Tataki-Zome" meaning hammering dye
or "Hapazome"  meaning leaf dye 
A technique where natural dyes from flowers & foliage are transferred to fabric or paper by pounding them with a hammer, mallet or rock
Forage, identify plants in the garden good for plant dyes & botanical art 

on paper & material 
We'll also make some organic plant based herbal tea (optional) from the garden  & sweetened with honey from the farm here, or local honey
 We will watch a demonstration on naturally dying wool.
