Early Phonics & Early Reading & early level math. Math will focus on addition, subtraction, patterns, symmetry, & shapes. We will also learn and practice money and telling time. Writing Levels, Beginning Reading & Beginning Writing Alphabet Letter Sounds to learn & know each letter sound Letter recognition CVC consonant vowel consonant learn with consistency  Work on short & long vowels  We hope to be on Silent E by the end of the semester but this will be determined by the class whether this is before or covered in semester 2  Write their name, & or improve letter formation  Letter formation of the alphabet and the words we are learning to read  Work toward reading basic books and follow along as we read We will learn with phonics games, movement & sensory activities  fun practice and repetition     We plan to have the kids outside much or for the duration of class. They may be inside, weather or specific activity depending. Plan clothing & gear for an outside class. They will have breaks outside during lessons for other levels subject & activities  level groupings  will be subtle & positive fun, hands on, kinesthetically, full sensory learning with natural products in nature.  How kids usually learn best & love it! "Wild" for us means kinesthetic, visual, auditory, sensory learning. with natural products, using nature, manipulatives, games, song, movement etc using a child's natural way to learn holistically, with fun. We will write, play, see, do, inside and outside.
