Nature School in a hybrid ala-carte style for maximum choice for you. 

Enroll in one class a week, a full day or a few days a week.

 Homestead Class
Ages 5-10 and 11-Teen

with an older & younger class & upon readiness & interest
You Can Sign Your Child/Teen Up for The Class You Think Will Fit Best -
We Will Discuss & Make Changes as needed 
We will considers siblings & friends together as best we can according to the above 
HOMESTEADERS : The older Class will have opportunities to lead the younger class at various times


Farm Kids Ages 5-10  :
This Class is for the kids that love to be around animals,  & ready to learn or do some basic chores & activities but really want & or need more unstructured time
If they want more work & project time they can as they are ready and move to Pioneers 

Homestead "Pioneers" Ages 7-10
This class  will learn & do farm chores with help, hold & be around the animals
Ready to follow the safety rules & guidelines around the animals & have more time because of it if they would like. More farm, garden & homestead projects. They are ready for more prolonged attention for 
homesteading activities throughout the class with less downtime - less unstructured time  
If your child is ready and interested in Pioneers but under age 7 - reach out. 

Homesteaders Ages 11 & Older 
This class is able to do more & or ready for more challenging tasks. Including readiness to learn the chores & leadership, time around the animals.  More challenging activities that take an older child or teen's focus and readiness to do longer activities, fine motor skills, & or group projects. They are excited to do and create projects & learn more in depth for most of the class time. 

This is a working & project oriented class : Bring Extra Water & Work Clothes

About this Class

Farm Chores : Feeding & Watering Farm Animals  & Mucking Pens : Learn a lot including a little grit & empathy too Learning about herbs : Until more recent years, herbs were a normal part of life. Helping kids (and families) to learn lost knowledge on herbs and how they can be used from mountain men, to a homestead, first aid, doctors in the day, to foods, herbs were usedMany herbs grow here We will learn about some specific herbs, their benefits, how to identify, forage & make an herbal salve, or another preparation season depending. Traditional homestead activities based on the season, ages & interest of the class and real projects & subjects Learn more of the history of homesteading and traditional ways things have been done, or why Learn more about animals, how they work together, why they are used, and  Growing food is an important part of homesteading we will learn some aspects including work in the garden to grow food, plant some veggies to bring home Handskills & games  Time to play like kids did for centuries too after the work is done, using their imagination with the supplies and terrain they had Activities available to kids will be based on their age, somewhat on their interest or abilities for the specific project & will help them stretch a little & encourage learning

Filling out a registration form is required to attend class and must be done before the first day of class. Please keep in mind that filling out this form does not reserve a spot for your child. Only placing a deposit or paying for the class in full reserves/holds their spot in class.

Deposit 2025-2026 Session 2  

  • Deposit price is $50

  • Deposits Hold A Place in Class & Are Credited Toward the Total Class Price

  • After paying this you will pay the balance before the start of class

  • There will be a $15 admin fee added onto the Balance - to avoid this you will need to pay amount in full, upfront

  • Pay the Balance before the 1st Day of Class or make payment arrangements

  • Amount due now: $50

  • Session 2 2025-2026 

  • The balance includes a $15 admin fee. To avoid this fee in the future you will need to pay for a class in one payment

  • The balance after you paid only the deposit 

  • including added $15 administrative fee

Sibling Discount 2 Siblings  for Session 2 2025-26 

  • Session 2 2025-2026

  • Sibling discount amount: $425

  • This is for two siblinglings in the same class

  • ​By paying for this class in one payment you are avoiding a $15 admin fee
