Want to learn more about tadpoles and frogs & toads?
From eggs to legs
We will learn about frogs & toads & their stages in this class alongside
the pond, while looking for pollywogs.
We will learn the stages, do some frog and pond art, listen to frog stories, and play on the banks of the pond (while attended). We will also have options to play games, build forts and various activities while enjoying being a kid. Bring a frog if you'd like to release one here! Native frogs only please ...and be sure they really want to let it go! We will be careful with the tadpoles and release them back in the pond. We will not bring any home.
Details
Bring a lunch and a big water bottle and dress for the weather. This is an outdoor class.
When you come to this class: park in the parking lot, come up to the waiting area by the rooster and playhouse and wait there please. This is where we pick up the kids and bring them back. Sometimes we can give a tour about 30 minutes before class. Please reach out if you would like one. We will need to plan this in ahead of time. We also can schedule a tour another time.
