Herbs & Art  :

learn about herbs - art with plants
Make seed paper- seeds bombs - learn about & identify herbs that grow in the gardens here. Make a salve that's perfect to have for summer time - taste some herbs too. Journal herbs we learn about, play games to help us learn more about the herbs. Plant, learn about and bring home a potted herb to grow at home.  

Down on the Farm:  DATE TBA  9:30-2:30 Ages 5-16    $99   Collect chicken & duck eggs- watch the baby animals- hold the bunnies & feed them some veggies - hand feed the sheep & lambs & give them some scratches inside the pens- pet the friendliest turkey you may ever meet- see what sheep wool looks like, prepare it; wash it & card the wool, naturally dye the wool and make a project with it - cook up the eggs we collected and taste them so fresh! Make some fresh butter -Learn more about farm animals & meet the horses & the miniature donkeys here - walk our Nigeran goat Shasta or Pygmy goat Shonie- pet & brush Fiona our miniature donkey & see how she loves attention! We will do some farm chores too! Learn about some herbs we grow here, their benefits, taste some, and make a salve! Look at the eggs being incubated and learn more about the stages of development inside a chicken egg.Enjoy some time swinging, playing tether ball and other outside games, nature art, some outdoor cooking, the kids will love being totally unplugged!

My GARDEN & Mighty Pollinators Camp:

Bring home starter plants & seeds for your home garden that kids are excited to grow & eat!                             Bring home Companion plants to help them grow well & taste better -Learn some about Monarchs & bring home a plant to help feed the monarchs - Repel pesky insects & attract beneficial insects - Add to  or begin a Beneficial Insect Garden -Butterfly Garden & Companion Plant Garden -learn about pollinators & how & why to attract them  Group project help make a large "Bug Hotel" for the gardens here. Lady Bug release & get a close (but safely far enough away) look at the bee hives here - watch them go in & out of the hive and watch them pollinate.

Create a map and find it's secret learn some mapping skills, learn about Idaho wildlife with lots of activities, art, games, bingo helping us learn & have a lot of fun doing it! Come in clothes to get wet and muddy if they want to play in the water & little stream with a lot of opportunity to have a blast, with games & open play and imagination and makes the mud kitchen really a mud kitchen and all that's involved. Fort building and playing in forts other kids have built are waiting for you!  More details to come.

ARCHERY : BUILD & SHOOT

this class is for the mature 8 year old ready to focus & able to tie their own knot, learn to make a primitive arrow build one or more   archery lesson & shoot, this class take some prolonged focus & motor skills to build an arrow - each student is building their own with step by step instructions                        LEAVE WITH ONE (OR MORE) HANDCRAFTED PRIMITIVE  ARROW - YOU BUILT !!

Archery, Fort Building, Scavenger Hunts, Art Projects & Open Art Station
explore, build forts, play in the mud kitchen, nature scavenger hunts, adventurous games, swing in a hammock, climb a play structure, dig in a sandbox, enjoy nature & have nature lesson & nature journaling time around lunch to reflect (drawing or writing whatever level they want or are at) make a nature crown, sew a satchel (older activity), nature stamp project & more

 GARDEN FAIRY HOUSE : FULL 
 DATE TBA  9:30-12:30  AGES 6-15  
 Build your own fairy garden house to bring home and bring home some magical plants that attract fairies to your garden or will help you grow. These plants will attract butterflies and help feed them too...maybe fairies in disguise. We will also make natural fairies to attract the butterflies as their is time. We will enjoy learning about and snacking on edible nutritious flowers and sipping lemon balm & mint drinks sweetened with raw honey to add to the magically fun & crafty morning. Bring a lunch and water bottle. 
 

Cooking & Nature Art :
DATE TBA   12:45-2:45 Ages 6-15  $35
We will harvest from the Edible Schoolyard & Cook up some yummy food! Collect eggs & cook them. Learn to crack eggs, and a variety of other cooking & outdoor baking in our oven outside! All food will be organic with gluten free choices too. We will do nature rubbings, and other nature art projects to take home! We will make a braclet to remember our day too that both boys & girls will like. We will have projects that will be appealing to both girls & boys. 
 If you are in the Garden Fairy House Class, you can stay for this class, that has a small gap in-between classes. We have a break between classes to help with parking of pick-up and drop-off.
