 EXPLORERS CAMP : Archery - Crafts - Forts

Archery, Fort Building, Whittle, Scavenger Hunts, Open Crafts Station - Archery is on Thursday only for this camp....
explore, whittle (8 & up), build forts, wildlife bingo, play in the mud kitchen, nature scavenger hunts, adventurous games, swing in a hammock, climb a play structure, dig in a sandbox, creation station with art


NATURE ADVENTURE CAMP:   
July 10 - 12    Ages 5-12      10:00 - 2:00  $175       scroll down to pay & register 
Adventurous games & activities for all ages & archery Create a map and find it's secret learn some mapping skills, learn about Idaho wildlife with lots of activities, crafts, games, bingo helping us learn & have a lot of fun doing it! Come in clothes to get wet and muddy if they want to play in the water & little stream with a lot of opportunity to have a blast, with games & open play and imagination and makes the mud kitchen really a mud kitchen and all that's involved. Fort building and playing in forts other kids have built are waiting for you!  

We might open more camps in July & August : we will promote on instagram & facebook 



Survival Camp : POSTPONED FOR LOCAL RELOCATION- IT'S GONNA BE GREAT
Date : TBA : 10 & older 

Bushcraft skills & activities - we will pick from a couple of these activities of what group wants to do and how many things we can do within the class time. Choices are : make a Sasquatch bed - make a leather shod to sharpen your pocket knife & learn to sharpen with a rock - put up a hammock & rain fly  - make tree bark flour burn & whittle a bowl to take home - make pitch glue & trees for survival first aid with conifers - tripod lashing -learn how to make a snare trap & how to safely use one - learn to clean a fish & then cook it up and eat it either on a fire we built or a burner - emergency plants for first aid - fire building

Play in the Little Woods - Nature crafts - Play in forts - Mud Kitchen Play Water Play- Make a Nature Mask or Crown Wear Butterfly Wings or Cape- Play Wild Nature Games- Listen to nature stories during lunch-Make Tree Spirit Faces-Bring your tadpoles or frogs to release in the pond- make a toad or fairy house to bring home - take a walk through the garden & see if there is anything tasty to try yet- swing in a hammock with a book - enjoy the outdoors and new friends. Many activities to choose from. If your child would like engage in activities that don't include the crafts, that is ok. If they would like to spend much of their time in art, that is ok too...or some of both. Today is about rhythm in nature and loving being a kid in it.  Bring a lunch & water bottles 
                                                                  
Worm Farm : POSTPONED FOR LOCAL RELOCATION 
build your own worm compost bin - worm farm & bring it home for worm castings & composting 

Edible Schoolyard & Cooking :POSTPONED FOR LOCAL RELOCATION
Harvest from the Edible Schoolyard Gardens & taste a variety of heirloom organic vegetables & edible flowers. Then we'll cook up some savory food! Whatever cooking level you're at is where we will start. We can learn or practice chopping & mincing & cracking eggs &  learn more about cooking. Everyone will have their hands in on the preparations & cooking. We will also bake some a dessert we made with some local fruits & organic ingredients in our outdoor oven. Then we will have a meal together by the willow tree and garden, learning about local food & Farm to Fork efforts, including growing our own food when possible including in small spaces. We will plant a vegetable in a pot to take home, grow and eat at your own home with instructions on how to help the plant thrive.
*Please let me know about food allergies in an email so we can discuss accommodations. Many allergies can be worked with. *  We will use all organic, no refined sugars and as many locally grown foods (if we don't grow or raise it here) as possible.

Herbs : 11 & older  
Learn about  some herbs and their benefits. We will taste some, and make a salve to bring home.
