Come enjoy a family class together! We will enjoy activities, lesson, games geared toward the ages of the class, with parent engagement. We will have a lesson around one of our natural ponds and other natural spaces. Learn in the garden, and around the farm animals. We will gather to learn together and adjust our rhythm with the weather and season. Our class rhythm will include an engaging lesson, nature walk, 10 minute tidy farm chore, farm animal snuggles and watching, games, garden time, and free time in the mud kitchen, build forts, swing, child led game or extra time with a craft. Please bring a prewashed cotton or linen towel on the first class. I will have some for sale for $5 each if you do not bring one. You can bring one per person in your family or just one for your family. Please let me know ahead if you would like to buy one or more so I have enough. After we gather we will have a The 10 minute Tidy: is Light work Chore time of a farm chore or a garden chore. You will work together with your child or children to pitch in on the farm. We will nurture a positive work ethic and expand exposure, learning more about husbandry (stewardship of animals) We have many classes, and children that enjoy the farm, some extra hands to help and expound what is involved on a farm. This may include picking up hay bale twine left behind, raking manure in the sheep pen, under the rabbit pen, picking up string from feed bags that get blown around, pulling a few weeds, bringing a full wheel barrel down to the compost pile, harvesting herbs, You will get to choose. Following our chore time, we will enjoy the animals! Rabbit holding, time in with the sheep, turkeys or other animals. This class is open to families including parent participation, Children 18 months and younger are free, and welcome. This includes 1-2 parents from 1 family. A related or non related adult may attend as the 2nd parent, however children from 1 family are included in the enrollment. Children from another family register and pay under another adult.
